Abilities Tennis
Cornelius PARC and Huntersville Parks & Recreation
sponsored by Lake Norman Tennis Association
and Abilities Tennis Association of North Carolina
Participants will have an individual volunteer to engage them in tennis-related activities to learn tennis skills. Volunteers will work 1:1 with youth creating a safe, welcoming, fun environment. Coaches will encourage participants to hone their skills while learning the rules of the game and interacting with peers. Our goal is to provide each child with a strong core belief in his/her ability to overcome everyday challenges without frustration.
The Abilities Tennis Association of NC will hold a kick-off event for us on Sunday, March 16: Volunteer Training from 1:00-3:00 pm and a Family Carnival from 3:00-5:00 pm (for registered families).
